Tenzing Norgye Sherpa was the first man to climb Mt. Everest with Sir. Edmund Hillary. As a Sherpa he was familiar with snow and mountain from his childhood. After Nepal Government open Himalayas for tourism, British expedition group climbed on mountains. Tenzing and Sir. Edmund Hillary were the first to climb on the top of Mt. Everest from British expedition group.
Today Sherpas are well known as a mountain climber. "Ang Rite Sherpa" who climbed Mt. Everest more than 10 times without oxygen known as a Tiger of Snow.
